Ammiano asks medical expense help for Galileo High School wrestling star

Supervisor Tom Ammiano yesterday asked medical expense help for a Galileo High School wrestling star mangled by a freak accident.

Tarik Aldali was hit and dragged 140 feet by a cement truck near Dublin, June 8, with injuries requiring treatment which may exceed health insurance coverage.

Part of his leg and arm were removed and several more surgeries will be needed to repair Aldali's pelvis, stomach, and for skin grafts.

Some 40 pints of blood were transfused and Adali was placed on a respirator.

Adali scored 29 wins in his first year of wrestling.
