More than a dozen news cameras and reporters bombarded San Francisco
Giants slugger Barry Bonds this afternoon after he and his ex-wife
made a quick appearance in a San Mateo County family courtroom.
Bonds and his former wife Susann were in court for about 30 minutes
as they reportedly dealt with some child custody and visitation
issues regarding their two children.
After today's court proceedings, which were closed to the public,
Susann exited the sixth-floor courtroom first and made her way
to the elevator without uttering a word to members of the media
or curious onlookers.
Bonds also declined to make any statements. However, one of three
people that escorted him out of Judge Richard DuBois's courtroom
said, "Barry denies the allegations in the book," referring
to a recently released book that highlights how the revered baseball
player allegedly used performance enhancing drugs.
