Police are continuing to investigate a Monday night shooting
that left a teenager in serious condition in a local hospital,
a San Francisco police dispatcher said today.
The shooting took place after an attempted robbery in the Forest
Hill neighborhood, according to a dispatcher. The victim and other
teenagers were sitting on some steps near the intersection of
Dewey Boulevard and Pacheco Street when they were approached by
another group of teenagers around 10:30 p.m.
After the second group of teens attempted to rob the victims
they shot at the victims, the dispatcher said.
One teenager was struck and taken to San Francisco General Hospital.
