Victim of Bayview shooting dies

A late night shooting in San Francisco's Bayview neighborhood has left one man dead today, police said.

The victim, a San Francisco man, was shot multiple times in the unit block of Beatrice Lane at around 11:50 p.m. Thursday, police reported. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he died early this morning.

No suspects are in custody and the man's name is being withheld pending notification of family members, police said.
