SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - A woman hospitalized with a gunshot
wound is facing a murder charge after she shot and killed her
76-year-old husband Tuesday morning in an apparent suicide pact,
San Francisco police reported.
Just before 10 a.m. police arrived at the couple's home in the
300 block of Magellan Avenue to find Hans Lattman dead of a gunshot
wound. His wife, who remains unidentified, apparently shot herself
in the chest. She is in the hospital with life-threatening wounds,
police Sgt. Steve Mannina said today.
According to Mannina, the couple had been married for more than
40 years and their health had deteriorated.
It is the city's third homicide in 2007.
