Vallejo police investigating accidental shooting
of father by four-year old son

Vallejo police received report Saturday that a 4-year-old boy shot and killed his father at a home in east Vallejo.

At around 4:35 p.m., police received a call reporting an accidental shooting from the wife of victim 32-year-old Brian Sparks.

According to police, the woman said her 4-year-old son was responsible for the shooting.

Police reported both son and mother are cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing.
