SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - Homicide inspectors are looking
into the mysterious death of a transgender 30-year-old person
who was found early Friday morning near Interstate Highway 280
in Potrero Hill.
The identity of the victim, who was found naked on the sidewalk
near the intersection of Cesar Chavez and Indiana streets around
5:40 a.m., is still unknown and investigators are calling on a
possible witness to come forward.
Later that Friday, around 8 a.m., witnesses saw a white female
around 25-years-old get into a blue metallic car near the southbound
U.S. Highway 101 onramp at Cesar Chavez Street.
The woman was also naked, and police believe she may have a connection
to the victim. Police are not calling the death a homicide as
of yet and they are uncertain whether the two individuals are
related.
The victim is described as slender with shoulder-length dark
hair.
Police said the victim is a transgender individual with some
male to female operations performed. The deceased also has knife-like
scars on both arms.
Police are urging anyone with information on the victim or witness
to call homicide inspectors Karen Lynch or Tom Cleary at (415)
553-1145. A confidential tip line is also available at (415) 575-4444.
