Two fatalities in overnight San Francisco shootings

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - Police report that two separate
San Francisco shootings that occurred within about 40 minutes
of each other this morning have claimed the lives of two men today.
The first shooting occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. when a
man was shot three times in the chest by a drive-by shooter at
the intersection of 13th and Folsom streets, according to the
San Francisco Police Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second shooting occurred at approximately 3 a.m. when a man
was shot at the intersection of 17th and Mission streets, police
reported.
The man was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where
he died of his injuries this morning, police said.
