SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - A man whose body was found in the
bay near San Francisco's Pier 28 last
week has been identified as Oscar Hernandez, 42.
Hernandez is thought to have lived in San Francisco, according
to Alan Pringle, chief investigator with the San Francisco medical
examiner's office. The victim's exact address, however, could
not be confirmed.
The medical examiner's office has not been able to identify any
family members.
Pringle said that, though an official cause of death has not
been determined, the case would probably not be going to the San
Francisco Police Department's homicide division.
Hernandez's body was found on Feb. 8, according to the medical
examiner's office.
