from San Francisco to Los Angeles
Bay City News Service

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - Frontier Airlines announced yesterday
that it will begin offering new non-stop service between San Francisco
International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport in
June.
Yesterday, at 10:30 p.m., Frontier Airlines CEO Jeff Potter released
details about the new service in front of the Frontier Airlines
check-in counter at SFO.
Airline officials report that the service will be offered five
times a day between the two cities using the airlines new Airbus
aircrafts. The new service is the first "point-to-point"
service offered by Frontier Airlines in California, officials
reported.
"We feel strongly that the San Francisco market is underserved
for high-value, low fare service and there is clearly a strong
business and leisure connection between these two cities,"
John Happ, senior vice president of marketing and planning for
Frontier Airlines, said in a statement. "We are eager to
begin service so that we can help bring low fares back to their
proper Bay Area home."
In honor of its new service, the airline will offer special introductory
fares as low as $59 for a one-way ticket, officials reported.
Frontier Airlines service between San Francisco and Los Angeles
will begin on June 29.
