Peter Keene Resigns from Police Commission

San Francisco Police Commissioner Peter Keane announced last night that he is resigning that post effective immediately.

Keane cited his need to fulfill other duties, including teaching at Golden Gate University and family responsibilities. He reported his decision during regular Wednesday night meeting of the Police Commission.

The resignation takes effect upon delivery of written resignation to the San Francisco County Clerk
