San Francisco police investigating murder at Marina Green

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - The San Francisco Medical Examiner's office is reporting a Vacaville man was the victim of an early morning homicide today in San Francisco's Marina District.

Darren Mears, 25, was killed just after midnight on the Marina Green near Scott Street and Marina Boulevard, according to the medical examiner's office and a San Francisco police dispatcher.

An autopsy will be performed later this week on Mears' body to determine the exact time and cause of death, a medical examiner's office spokesman said today.

Police have not released any further details in the incident.

There have been no arrests made in the case.
