Rash of robberies strike Western Addition Tuesday

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) -- San Francisco police are investigating
a series of street robberies that occurred Tuesday night, according
to police Officer Mike Celis.
The four robberies all occurred between 9 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
in the same geographic area, Celis said.
The victims were all on foot, according to Celis, who said the
crimes occurred at Fell and Octavia streets; Oak and Octavia streets;
Page and Buchanan streets; and Haight and Webster streets.
One suspect, described as a black male about 6 feet tall weighing
180 pounds, was armed with a black semi-automatic gun, Celis said.
The second suspect, a Hispanic male about 5 feet 7 inches tall
weighing 150 pounds, was armed with a knife.
None of the victims was injured, according to Celis.
Celis did not have additional details on the robberies and said
the crimes remain under investigation.
