San Francisco’s Court Jester h. brown today turned the ripe young age of 64. The prolific, colorful, and sometimes insufferable self-proclaimed satirist will be celebrating his Birthday at Fog City Journal headquarters, aka The Temple Bar, tonight beginning at 7 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to come and join in the cheer. First round is on Board President Aaron Peskin!

Mirkarimi ordinance expands City Hall transparency and sunshine
Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi
An ordinance sponsored by Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi and co-sponsored by Supervisors Tom Ammiano and Chris Daly requiring all public meetings held in a City Hall to be audio or video recorded, passed 6-5 on first reading Tuesday.
Supervisors Sophie Maxwell, Jake McGoldrick, Michela Alioto-Pier, Carmen Chu and Sean Elsbernd voted against the legislation.

Right Sam,
I like the Giants, 49’ers, my grandkids and a couple of my friends. Other than that, everyone is fair game.
Or, unfair perhaps.

Sometimes insufferable? From what I know of this Mr. Brown, even he would disagree with the modifier “sometimes.”
