Interestingly– Barack Obama and John McCain–and Hillary Clinton– have something in common. All have supporters who will tell you with a wink that their candidate will become their own person… if only they get elected.
To get elected, they must “play the game” that requires them to suppress truthfulness while professing loyalty to tyrants who care much less about liberty, equality, or peace on earth than about profits, profits, and more profits… for themselves.
(A game which these candidates and the establishment media ask us to go along with season after season.)
Despite superficial differences, the Democratic and Republican Parties are one.
To focus on the the similarities between McCain and Bush is a distraction from noticing the similarities between all the corporate candidates.
As responsible citizens, we must demand real choices and real debate.
