Qualifies for November BallotThe measure aims to rein in unsustainable pension and healthcare costs projected to exceed $1 billion by 2016. If passed by a simple majority of voters, the measure will save $170 million per year through a combination of public employee pension and dependent healthcare contribution increases, according to Adachi.
